The best mental model I've found for delegating to AI: imagine a smart kid just walked in to help you. They can write, research, work a spreadsheet, whatever you need. But they know nothing about your company, your situation, or what "good" looks like for you.

You can outsource your thinking to them. You can't outsource your understanding. If you don't know what a good result looks like yourself, no amount of prompting fixes that.

Build the understanding first. Then delegate.
